Ken Andrews - Secret of the Lost Satellite REVIEW :D

Well, after listening to this CD since I've had it, I have to say, this is another original piece of art that Ken has made. The CD have a great atmospheric intro leading into another synth alt rock album. If you were into Failure, ON, or Year of the Rabbit (Which includes Ken in all bands) then you'll sink into this album like a rock in water. There is eleven tracks which smoothly flow perfectly from song to song. There's one song released on only CD and one song released only through ITUNES. Either one you buy you get to enjoy a different song! In my opinion, this sounds like where Year of the Rabbit would've picked up if they came back. A good friend of Ken's, Jordon Zadorozny from Blinker the Star came in and helped out on a co-producing SOTLS which had some influences on some of Ken's songs. Some of the songs that hit me harder would be "Perfect Days", "Tripped Up" and "In Your Way". The lyrics and music make it such an experience to remember that keep you coming back for more. Still you can feel the typical music of Ken in here which would be a little more darker in some areas but picks up rockin' till the break of dawn. As Ken said himself he doesn't like to discuss his lyrics meanings but likes the listener to get his own interpretation of them.Anyone who buys this will not be disappointed in this AWESOME buy. This was one of the top 3 albums I had been anticipating on for this year, also been a waiting fan since late 2005 for new material by Ken himself. Expect a lot of good things on this album.

Well, on Sept. 15th, I got to see one of my favorite bands...Phoenix!!! :D!!!! The band who opened was La Rocca. The best Irish band ever. Here are pictures...

Man, I just got back from seeing The Life and Times.

OHHHHH MAHHH GOD! SOOOO GOOODDD!!

A japanese band named MONO was there as well. Instrumental isn't my cup of tea, same with Misael's so we left during their set. Pelican was there as well.I just wanted to see The Life and Times.

Well, I'll sum it up very short.

Friday hung out with Stephen! Rolando and Misael. Went to a kegger, got a little crunk. Chilled with my brother and his friends.

Saturday. Rolando and I went to 6th street. Rolando got his lip pierced. I got my tattoo. That night hung outwith my old friend Natalie. Didn't go out after 11. Too tired and worn out after tattoo. Misael and Rolando hung out wih two drunk boring chicks who took them to a pool bar.

Left at 1. Made it from Austin to Waco in an hour. (Was doing 100 - 110mph) the whole way. Got home at 5. Hung out with Tehseen when I got home then headed to a Prelude meet with Tehseen. Went to his house. Chilled. Came home. :)
